Program Types

  • Points
Members earn virtual currency for every dollar spent or action taken. Points can be redeemed for discounts, products, or exclusive experiences.
  • Cashback & Rebates
A percentage of eligible sales is returned as currency to the earner’s account — whether that’s a consumer or a channel partner, where this is often called a rebate. The credit can be applied to future purchases or accumulated toward a payout.
  • Tiers & Benefits
Categorize members or partners into levels — such as Bronze, Silver and Gold for consumers, or Authorized, Preferred and Elite for channel partners — based on engagement or sales volume. Moving up unlocks increasingly valuable perks, such as better rebate rates for partners, creating a sense of status and progression.
  • Sales Contests
Reward partners for hitting an activity or volume threshold, like a set number of qualifying sales within a defined period. Commonly used as SPIFFs in channel programs.
  • Certifications & Specializations
Recognize partners who complete training or product certification with a badge. Badge holdings can then gate eligibility for premium incentives or higher tiers.

Drive short-term sales or promote specific shopping or selling windows by increasing the rate at which members or partners earn points, cashback, or rebates.

Expand incremental revenue by granting rewards only when a member or partner hits a specific transaction or sales value.
  • Product Mix
Diversify members’ shopping habits, clear aging inventory, or focus partners’ sell-in efforts by encouraging purchases from specific categories or product lines.
  • Location
Drive foot traffic to underperforming locations, or sales activity in underperforming partner territories, with incentives targeted by geography.
  • Channel
Steer members toward more cost-effective or higher-engagement choices by tying rewards to a specific sales channel.
  • Payment Method
Reduce transaction fees or strengthen strategic partnerships by rewarding members for using a preferred payment method.
